RTET and REET previous year papers
Before the REET name was introduced, Rajasthan conducted the teacher eligibility test as RTET. The official BSER archive lists RTET 2011, 2012 and 2013, followed by REET 2015, 2017, 2021 and 2022. The REET-2024 cycle was then held in February 2025.
RTET 2011
Exam held: 31 July 2011The initial notice scheduled the exam for 22 May 2011; it was later rescheduled and held on 31 July 2011.

Recent papers from REET 2022 and the REET-2024 cycle
REET 2022 was held across four shifts over two days. On 23 July, Shift 1 was Level 1 and Shift 2 was Level 2. Two more Level 2 shifts were held on 24 July. The REET-2024 cycle was held on 27–28 February 2025: Shift 1 on 27 February was Level 1, while Shifts 2 and 3 were Level 2.
What is the difference between REET Level 1 and Level 2?
Level 1
Eligibility for teaching Classes I–V. The recent pattern includes Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
Level 2
Eligibility for teaching Classes VI–VIII. After the common sections, the paper includes Mathematics & Science or Social Studies, as applicable.
Why do some REET cycle names and exam years differ?
Some REET cycles are named after the notification year even though the exam was held in the following calendar year. REET 2015 was held on 7 February 2016, REET 2017 on 11 February 2018, and the REET-2024 cycle in February 2025.
REET eligibility papers and “REET Mains” are not the same exam
This page covers only RTET/REET teacher eligibility papers. The 3rd Grade Teacher recruitment exam is often called “REET Mains” on other websites, but it is a separate recruitment examination and is not mixed into this list.

What was the teacher eligibility exam called before REET?

How many shifts were there in REET 2022?
REET 2022 was held in four shifts: one Level 1 and one Level 2 shift on 23 July, followed by two Level 2 shifts on 24 July.
Why is the REET-2024 paper also referred to as a 2025 paper?
The official cycle name was REET-2024, but the exam was held on 27–28 February 2025, so both year references are seen online.
